We’ve met the new owner of the New Harp Inn. We have the lowdown on the plans for the place. We know now that the new owner wants to transform the bar area and the kitchen, smarten the place up and generally give it a facelift. The decking in the garden area is just the start of it, although she seemed rather bemused that the person who is masterminding operations for her should choose to do the decking and landscaping before doing the external works on the building itself, but it’s done now. Next week, the painters will be in.
